Guidelines
Map / Posters
The Map Gallery location will be announced shortly. Submissions must be available by 9 am, Monday, September 21st. The Workshop will provide easels. Posters can be of any size up to E-size (portrait or landscape) but must be mounted on poster board and should identify the agency responsible for the poster. Posters not collected by the close of the Workshop at 4pm on Tuesday, September 22nd will be discarded.
Apps – StoryMaps
Entries must be shared to the public without requiring a login. Entries engaging "premium data" (login required, such as premium content from Living Atlas) must set the display to permit access without needing a login.
Please provide a short URL of the Story Map or app with publicly visible content, i.e."https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/{32_character_code}".
ALWAYS test links in a "private/incognito" browser window before submitting.
Voting will be open from 10am Monday, September 21st through Tuesday, September 22nd at 12 noon. There will be a Popular Choice Award in both categories (Map & App/Story Map) and an overall Keynote Choice Award. You must be registered for the Workshop to participate. Judgment Criteria
Entries may not be used as a promotional device for commercial purposes. Any entry which markets a product or service will be disqualified from the Map or App Gallery.
All entries must be submitted prior to September 7th, 2026. No walk-in entries will be allowed.
Reminder: Participation in the Maps and Apps Gallery counts for GISP points!
